Frigidaire FDE647RFS1 dryer - won't start
Take a look at the fuse linked here
Fuse Link
Pop the top up on the dryer (with it unplugged)
The fuse is attached to the right rear wall of the dryer
right beside the terminal block (where the cord attaches)
unplug the wires from the fuse and check continuity
no continuity = bad...and if so check your venting
for a crimp or restriction as well as the lint filter housing,
it tends to clog up at the bottom.
correct the problem before replacing the fuse (if it's bad)
or it will blow again.

Frigidaire FEZ831AS1 stack laundry unit: washer has no brakes, tub free-spins; doesn't agitate clothes
The most annoying part of this problem is that as it agitates, the agitator goes one direction and the basket spins the other. So the clothes never agitate they just spin with the basket. Makes you think the basket brake is broken. Except there's one problem, Sublime Master appl.tech.2901 explains...
this machine doesn"t have brakes...it coasts to a stop. that the reason it has a lid lock. yes you have a bad transmission. If your going to tackle this repair you should replace the spin bearing and seal as well.
