Replacing the drum support spider and shaft only without the complete basket in a Whirlpool Duet Sport washer

If the machine was quite in spin before the spider broke then most likely seal and bearings are OK.

You don't have to replace the complete spin basket with the spider attached,(ref#11), in the Duet SPORTS.  You can purchase just the spider/shaft assembly for the Duet SPORTS, ref#27 in the parts break down picture.

Much more of a reasonable price and also don't get hit with an extra $50+ shipping charge for over-sized package shipment.

Spider only - $62.95

Replacement analog pressure switch for the Whirlpool Duet Steam washer to fix F35 and "SUDS" errors

The original pressure switch for this washer has been discontinued which has created a conundrum for those with the F35 or SUDS error codes.  Here's the work-around:

Well the part number W10312527 is a replacement with a little work.

(maybe just a plastic key tab on the connector that could be cut off?).

that is correct, the tech had to snip a little plastic off so the key type insert would fit.
The machine worked fine with this part. The washer was a Whirlpool WFW9600TW00

Good Luck

How to find the model number on your major home appliance, snow blower, and lawn mower

First, do not use the model number on the manual, it's either truncated or just plain wrong and it's useless for parts and manual lookup.  Instead, come check out the videos and photos on this page.  Righteous!   :thanks:
