How to fix a Frigidaire Affinity front load washer that squeaks loudly during max spin

Posted by Samurai Appliance Repair Man, in Washing Machine Repair 22 June 2011 · 1,912 views

You might want to take the top off again and check the springs that hold the tub to the frame. Run the washer with the top off and observe. Be careful and keep your hands out of danger areas. There should be "spring protectors" on the frame where the springs attach.Posted Image

Pull the basket out and check for 2 thingss...

1) any items caught under the basket or between the basket and outer tub.

2) check the shaft abouve the tub seal for rust or build-up of soap/gunk.

If the shaft is rusted, sand it off and coat shaft with thin layer of grease. Put it back together and give it a try.
