Possible Concern:

A new refrigerator design with new components also involves new and different operating noises. These noises can drive a service call even though the operating noise is normal.

Potential Cause:

The compressors in dual evaporator refrigerators are variable speed compressors. As the compressor changes speeds, customers are not comfortable with sound differences between low speed and high speed, because their last refrigerator didn’t sound like this. There are also several motors in these refrigerators (Condenser Fan, RC Evaporator Fan, FC Evaporator Fan, Ice Maker).
