Contains 1 fill tube/foil heater assembly, 1 grommet,
1 connector adapter, 1 heater sleeve, 1 fill tube
cover, 4 wire tie.

WR49X10094 for SXS NON-DISPENSER AND ALL-
FREEZER MODELS: Contains 1 All freezer fill tube,
1 SxS non-dispenser fill tube, 1 wrap type fill tube
heater, 1 grommet, 1 connector adapter.

WR49X10100 for SXS DISPENSER MODELS:
Contains 1 fill tube/foil heater assembly, 1 grommet,
1 connector adapter, 1 heater sleeve, 4 wire tie.


This bulletin provides information on kits available to
repair icemaker fill tube freezing and water leaking
between the grommet and fill tube on Monogram
Energy Model refrigerators.

CONSUMER COMPLAINTS: “no ice production”,
“water/ice in freezer bottom”, “icemaker is leaking
water in back corner”…

Icemaker fill tube freezing and water leaking at the
grommet could have several causes.

1.Check the following before ordering kit:
•Tubing kinks
•Clogged filter or water valve
•Loose tubing connections
•If consumer has low water pressure or other
filtration systems, remove the SmartWater™
filter and install bypass cap permanently.


2. In some units the wrap-type wire heater does not
provide enough heat to melt accumulating ice.
Replace wire heater with a foil type heater in all
BOTTOM-FREEZER and SXS DISPENSER
MODELS.

3. If water leaks between the grommet and fill tube,
and the grommet does not seal tightly around the
tube, the grommet must be replaced.
NOTE:ACCESS TO BACK OF REFRIGERATOR IS
REQUIRED FOR THIS REPAIR. GE recommends
two technicians move the refrigerator in order to
replace the fill tube grommet.
