ge side by side

I have a GE side by side model GH432801, it does not keep a constant temp in the freezer, it will go from -5 to 0 and may stay there or go back up, also it has quit working for as long as 12 hrs. temp rises and after 10-12 hrs. it will start up again. Anyone have a clue what is happening?

Just a low voltage electrician churning out an income to buy my grandkids some toys. Those kind of toys they didn't make when I was a kid. You know. the one's without motors unless you found an old lawn mower motor and found a way to attach it to a girls bicycle.
