  1. GE Profile Oven JGSP48BH3BB

Hello everyone.  I am trying to fix error code F7 for a GE oven range, but I cant figure out how to get the control panel off this thing.  There are 7 bolts under the panel which I tried taking off, but the panel is still firmly in place.  From the look of things I may need to remove the entire top part of the range and burners, which have screws that are very likely rusted through and will need drilling.  Before I get into that I was hoping someone here might know an easier solution.  I was unable to find any resources online on how to take off this front panel.   Any help would be much appreciated.   This is the panel and this is the range

  5. Hi, Why is my GE refrigerator model# GTS18KCMARBB defrost drain/line continually freezing, resulting in leaking water from freezer into lower 'fridge? My GE refrigerator model# GTS18KCMARBB is leaking water from the freezer into the lower 'fridge. I unclogged the freezer defrost line about a month ago and the leaking stopped. But the leaking has continued and after opening the back of the freezer I found that the defrost drain was once again filled with ice. I will unclog it like I did the last time but would like to not have to do it again in 1-2 months. Is the entire drain line to the drain pan clogging? If so, can I do anything with the drain line such as modify any attachments to it such as a grommet (if there is one)? Is there something malfunctioning rather with the defrost timer? Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. Sincerely, Tim

  15. My 13-year old Asko dishwasher (D1776) is giving me the "F1" code, which means trouble heating.  It's otherwise in great shape, so I thought I might grab a replacement heating element (part #8057077) as the easiest part to replace, but I have looked all over the internet and the only one I can find is used, in terrible shape, overpriced, and in Australia (I'm in the US). Is this something dishwasher manufacturers do - not produce enough replacement parts so that when parts break you have to buy a new appliance? Thanks, Chris
  16. I could use a hand diagnosing a problem with our Kitchenaid dishwasher, mode number KUDI02IRWH1. Whenever we try to run it, at some point in the wash cycle the machine will stop, and all the LED's on the control panel will go blank.  After some other random period of time (1 second - 30 minutes) they come back on, with "Start / Resume" flashing. There doesn't seem to be an issue with the circuit.  The breaker never trips and other outlets on the same circuit still work while the LED's are out. I've opened it up and tested both the door switch and the thermal fuse, and they both have connectivity.  I also ran it through the maintenance cycle described in the service manual and that completed just fine. Any ideas?
