Ancient Sears Coldspot 106-637200 Dehumidifier

I have a 30-40 year old (I'm guessing)  Sears Coldspot 106-637200 Dehumidifier in my garage which I use to keep my tools from rusting here in Florida.  Got it free and it works fine, but there was no shut off float with it when I got it.

Would anyone have a diagram of one so I can fabricate a reasonabe replacement?

Better yet, can it just be rigged to drain somewhere or put in a discharge pump? That way it would be hands off.

That's in the plan of things to do, but I have to drill throught the concrete wall to set that up - but really the shut off valve should be working so it never floods (my garage shop is carpeted - squish squish squish).

I can make a float  that works, but haven' t figured out how to make it stay in place when removing the condensate tray - thats why I was looking for a picture of the original.
