They just brought my fridge in after moving it around in a truck and up three flights of stairs. How long do I have to let it sit before I plug it in?

Thanks.

Was it kept upright in the truck?  If so, plug it in.

If not, wait 24 hours, plug it in for 3 minutes, then unplug for 30 minutes; plug in for 4 minutes, unpluig for 40 minutes; plug in for 5 minutes, unplug for 50 minutes.  After that, plug it in and let it rip.
