All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:

Whirlpool 40 Gallon Water Heater

Brand New. Hot water runs to bath tub, Bathroom sink and kitchen sink.

When turn on water in bath tub it is warm no matter how long I run it. If I leave it running and turn on hot water in bathroom sink faucet the water running in tub gets hot immediately. Then if I turn off the sink faucet the water running in tub goes back to warm. The water in sink won't get hot no matter what I do (gets warm)  and can get no hot water in kitchen.

Some of the plumbing was run improperly but I have fixed it but that made no difference.

Weirdest thing I have ever seen! Please Help.....

Thanks

Umm, could be reflux through an improperly working mixer valve on a tap... on hot side pressure is usually lower so cold water will tend to flow backwards into hot tubes if there is a mixer valve that has a broken reflux preventer on the hot side.

If I got it right, you run the pipes first for shower/tub, then bathroom sink, then kitchen... Right?

Might first want to check the bathroom sink tap... opening that would easen the pressure in the cold pipe, so the cold will not mix into the hot in the plumbing... so you have hot water to the tub... tha last link of the chain, the kitchen, has weakest pressure, and if the middle tap allows a lot of reflux, you get primarily cold water there...

I had the same problem when I installed my last water heater. turns out my boy did not open up the water meter valve but half way.  several of my female members of the family complained about getting they butts burned while taking a shower when somebody opened the tap in the kitchen, after the fun wore off ,I went out there and checked the dang water meter and the boy had opened it halfasst. true redneck story.
