I have a frigidaire gallery side by side model #frs24wscb1. Ice builds up between the bottom of the icemaker and the chute in the door it gets so bad sometimes it starts to pull the icemaker out with the door when it is opened. any suggestions on what to do would be greatly appreciated

See if the ice maker mold is leaking water thru the bottom or if the ice maker is not level and overfilling with water.  Also see if the door on the ice chute is sticking open letting warm air inside causing this ice buildup.  Thaw all of this ice with your blow dryer and then watch to see if you can tell where this water/ice is starting to come from..

the mold is not leaking. There is no door on the chute. There is a rubber flapper on the ice maker that opens up from the icemaker to the chute when the freezer door is closed I think you are right about warm air getting inside now what to do about it and thank you for your qiuck response
