Hi

My burners operate, the ingnitor coil by the oven burner comes on.  However, the control valve never opens to allow gas to the oven burner.  I have replaced he complete control valve and no change.  I light tap on the valve with a hammer allows gas to flow for about 10 to 30 seconds.

Can you help?  I am already out $100 for the control valve that didn't help.

Thanks.

You need a new ignitor, it has gotten too weak to open the gas valve.
