Does anyone know of any other small chest freezer door gasket that may work on the Haier Model # HCM050LA? It's about 2 1/2'  X  3' in size.

I bought a small Haier chest freezer 3 years ago for $90 and the door gasket is no longer good. The only way I can replace this gasket is to buy the whole door for $111 plus shipping !!. The distributors say the reason is because this brand comes  from the Eastern part of the world (Orient ) and that is the only way to replace it. Also their parts are NOT interchangable. I've called several parts dealers and they all say the same thing.
Just thought I'd let you know when looking at Haier appliances keep this in mind.

Thanks for your time and have a nice weekend.

Yes, these products are throw aways, I would not purchase this Brand.  I would suppose you might find a cut to fit gasket but probably would not seal properly and would be a waste if money.
