i have an antique top freezer whirlpool refrig.the freezer is running -8 to -10 degrees and nothing comming down to the refrig area.is there something that could clog or obstruct the duct.i did check the setting knob.

You could have a defrost problem, blocking the air to the food compartment, see if there is frost on the back panel inside of the freezer compartment, this would block all of the cold air to the bottom.  And make sure the freezewr control is not set to coldest as this would block all air to the bottom.
