Kenmore Error Codes help

I have a Kenmore stove (665.75014101)with the broiler not working on a gas range(igniter fine). At first there were no error codes, we proceeded to install new control board. After installation the unit flashed an E1 and F2 error code. In the hopes of not being a parts changer we want to change out the temp sensor. I have a sneaking suspicion that the board might be bad. Any ideas?????

Sensors are easy enough to check that it awwta be checked regardless of what the fault code means:

Also, disconnect power from the range for a couple of minutes and then power it up again.

This range is built by Whirlpool. Here's a reference document of fault codes for all Whirlpool and Kitchenaid ranges.
