I am about to replace the controller board in my rds30 for the FOURTH time.  The first one lasted about 5 years before it began to have problems. Occasionally at first, and then  several times a day, the display would show an error or  some unrecognizeable characters that required a power-down reset.  I purchased  a replacement controller, which worked for a few months before having a different problem that resulted in any oven setting switching over to broil.  I scrapped that board and installed a warrantee replacement, which lasted about three months before  having the same display problems as the first controller.  Once again, I got a warrantee replacement and that has exhibited the "always broiling" problem within the first week.

I should also mention that at the same time that I replaced the first controller, I replaced the front panel that had cracked due to a design defect.

Am I going to keep replacing these things until I luck out and get one that works?  Any suggestions on alternate course of action would be greatly appreciated.
