I was wondering what I need to look for--washer will not agitate it started about a month ago but I use to go to the base agitator and give it a tug and it would start agitating--now I try to give it a tug and it will not move.  I've notice once the tub fills to the desired level and click to start agitating the agitator tries to move but cant---could it be the rest of the pantyhose that was wrapped underneath from about a year ago--Also having a hard time taking off the agitator--the screw under the fabric softner despenser.

Does the washer both spin and pump out if you advance the timer?
