Basically the oven beeps as it switches back and forth to the timer function and the keypad does not respond.  It was intermittent at first but then it got worse and it angers me so.

I contacted GE and they told me it could be the Control Panel or the Oven Control.  I read the other thread, but I am not sure if I have the same problem or if the switching back and forth is something different.

Any thoughts as to which part may be bad?

Thanks
