Signed up today for our 99 year membership to find that it will expire in 1970

Expired, past tense? That's interestingly different from the other error. And you're still able to post. So, although it definitely is a bug, it appears to be benign because the net effect for the account is the same: permanent membership for a one-time love-offering of five federal reserve notes.
