      This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers. 
      If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.

We have a 50 Gallon Tall GE Smartwater gas water heater that was installed (new)briefly then removed because we needed a forced vent system to pass inspection.  This water heater has been sitting in the garage for 3 years now.  Should it be OK to hook up and use now?  Anything I should check for with regards to rust or deposits?Thanks for the help!

YOU SHOULD BE FINE  if i was doing it i would set the temp high(after install and fill ) first to kill anything off that might be growing in any water left in the bottom and then do a flush before setting the temp where i wanted it or useing any water from it
