Hello all,

I have a older GE Gase range/oven, the Oven won't light, I have opened it up and watched the round igniter and it is not turning orange like the one on ht broiler which does lite gas and works.

I read an article today on this and it seems to a non-tech type like me that the igniter is weak or bad.

I have removed it from the oven. Is this the most probable item to replace first?

THanks, Jeff

The igniter is the most likely problem, and easily replaced.
