Refrigerator model # 25379152990

Icemaker I think is the modular type with a large gear turning a smaller gear. Larger gear may be turned by screwdriver. Water is available to inlet of water valve. I unplugged frige for three hours in case of frozen water line. No luck. Will the gear turn automatically while freezer door is open? It doesn't.  Any input?

Unplugging the fridge for 3 hours will not melt an ice plug.  Try manually starting the harvest cycle to see if the water fill valve energizes-- listen for its hum at the end o the harvest cycle.  To start the harvest, grab the harvest fingers and gently, steadily lift them up until you feel the unit "catch" and go on its own.
