Viking Range Repair Manual

Can anyone please provide a manual for this model?  I never like to open up appliances without a roadmap of what to remove first to access the wires I need to test.

I need to do a current reading on my oven ignitor and I'm not sure of the best place to insert the meter.  I do not have a clamp-on amp meter, only a probe-type multi-meter.

Thanks.

The Oven Ignitor is in series with the Gas Safety Valve, which won't open until the Ignitor reaches a certain temperature at which time the Ignitor amperage reaches about 3.0 amps, and the Gas Safety Valve (which = 1 OHM) reahces 3.0 amps which is 3.0 volts at the Gas Valve.

Because the Gas Valve = 1 OHM, Volts = Amps at the Gas Valve.

if anyone has a copy of the manual (since Xdrive is caput) that was the actual subject of this thread, though I do appreciate the input regarding volts and amps.

I will also use the furnished links to procure a clamp on!
