Hi! I'm new to this forum but it looks like a lot of people have gotten great help/advice for their appliances...hope you guys can help me out too! My 10 year old Signature washing machine shakes violently while making horrible screeching noises...it moves across the floor...what can I do to fix this problem...I think it has balance issues but I have no idea how to solve this problem! B/c otherwise it's doing fine. hope someone can help! thanks!

Definitely a balance issue and likely caused by uneven weight distribution on the footings.  This will cause eccentric centripetal forces to develop during the spin cycle, creating the problem you're having. More information here:
