how lazy are people that they will spend $600 to save 20 seconds of adding detergent?

im actually glad to see these, people are spending a lot of money on laundry equipment. It will make good job security for us techs in the future. people will be more likely to fix, rather than throw away, a washer they have invested $1800 in to.

What do you suppose is going to be the issues we're going to see on these things? 
I suspect we'll run into a lot of "glop" buildup, particularly if they have liquid softener.
