I am replacing the lids on my dishdrawer DD603I to fix the leaking gaskets. The kit 522566 I received reflects a new design such that the new yoke is about 1/4 in longer than the original. When installed, the yoke bows and does not freely float in the guide rails like the original.  I would think that the lid actuators would have a tough time as a result raising and lower the lid.

Is the yoke supposed to freely float?
