Dryer types -for front loader?

3 posts in this topic

I have a 1994 Maytag Washer and a 1977 GE Dryer.

If the dryer dies first and is too expensive to repair , and I buy a new dryer will the fact that when the washer dies I may get a front loader affect the kind of dryer I buy?

No I do not care if they match.

Are dryers sold "for/with" front loaders bigger than "regular" washers?

All dryers are front loaders,

and no it matters not which one you purchase.

Gas dryers cost MUCH less than Electric to run.

It may depend on the part of the country you live in,

but I still think gas is better.

there are some nice Whirlpool/Kenmore dryers with VERY large openings to make it easier to load and unload your clothes.

Speed Queen and Maytag are good also

my personal UN FAVORITE is G E ask some guys at the local parts place what they like to work on. Good Luck.
