      All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological. 
      We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
      Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!

Geetings and salutations my friends!

I am in need of a tech. sheet for a GE GLD5800L00BB dishwasher. I have a blinking clean light and cannot check some of the individual components because the machine is trapped under the counter by the floor. Anybody out there with any information?

No gotty the tech sheet for this one.

Can you remove the kickplates or does the floor prevent this? If so, there should be a tech sheet on the back of the kickplates.

Can always purchase a new tech sheet from GE. Last time I did this, I think it was about $11. Fax or mail, your choice.

on a similar model EDW5000L00 (same Controller) 31-9085 Triton XL

FLASHING DISPLAY LIGHTS

Status Indicator Lights  

START/RESET 

Cycle has been interrupted by pressing the START/RESET  keypad. Light will quitflashing after the dishwasher automatically drains out the water.

CLEAN

Unit has no water. Check the water supply. If water is turned on call for service.
