my maytag dishwasher is leaking gallons when it is in operation. model # MDB4000AWB.

I found a cut in a hose just off of the pump on the bottom of the machine.by matching up the part with photos i believe it to be the upper shower hose.but upon trying to remove the line from the top of the machine i have found some resistance. my ?? is should i be looking for an internal connection or a c cip or should i just rip it out?

Post a photo or two here of what you're seeing on your dishwasher so we can see which hose you're talking about.

If the hose is already cut, you're going to replace it anyway, so rip away!

dishwasher repaired ,top spinner removed from inside with a large plastic nut ,then external hose can be removed and replaced problem solved. not really a hard job.. thanks for the help.
