For God sakes people if you no that you have no idea what your doing and you know you won't be able to sucessfully complete the job...please call for professional help. I mean I am all for people trying to repair their own stuff but have a little sense.
I was called to a GE Harmony dryer yesterday....simple no heat I thought ahhhh this should be quick....silly me. They forgot to mention when they called that they had previously called the ole "handy man" to tackle the job.....well you already know where this stories going. In a laundry room so small and cluttered that you could only manage to open the door far enough to barely squeeze through to get in this guy somehow managed to completely disssamble this dryer and I mean completely :X...all it needed was an element.....so this somewhat simple repair cost the customer twice the amount to get this unit fixed.....and that was being reasonable.
