I have a Kenmore refrigerator model # 106.9658114. Concentrated On the bottom center inside the refrigerator it freezes and also causes a puddle. It is cold enough that it freezes food. The temperature every where else in the refrigerator is normal. The freezer runs normal also. What could cause this?

I want to add that I checked the drain tube and that was clear. I did notice that on the top inside the refrigerator part that where the door is to direct more cold air to the freezer or refigerator that moisture drips from this and there is also ice. Certain types of food will freeze in the refrigerator part even though I turn down the temperature setting for the refrigerator

[align=left]Sears does not make anything, they buy products from their venders and has the Kenmore name put on them. This Ref. is a Whirlpool brand. We cannot get any information from Sears about service pointers but we can get them from Whirlpool, who made this box. I have no way of knowing if this service pointer pertains to your unit or not, but read this service pointer from Whirlpool to see if this is close to what you are seeing. If this is not close please provide more details so we can see of there might be another service pointer or update to hep you solve this problem. Pegi[/align]

[align=left]CAUSES: Frost or ice formation is created by high moisture or humidity[/align]

[align=left]n Possible blockage of return air openings.[/align]
[align=left]n Leaking door seals.[/align]
[align=left]n Cabinet leaks (particularly deck rail and corner gusset areas).[/align]

[align=left]n Frequent door openings.[/align]
[align=left]n Refrigerator loaded with uncovered food or food having high moisture content.[/align]

[align=left]5. Install Part No. 483166 Air Scoop Heater in air diffuser using kit instructions.[/align]

Mark, make sure that your fridge is tilted back toward the wall. your drain is in the back of your box and water runs downhill. this won't help your freezing food problem,though.
