My mother tried to "fix" the dryer and she broke the door switch lever.  Is it possable to repace just that and if so will it be easy?  Will we have to take to whole dryer apart?  It's a Kenmore Elite about 3-5 yrs old, and I couldn't find a model number for it sorry.  Thanks bunches.

This is one of the newer door switches with the lever as part of the assembly. Whirlpool part number 3406107.

Our illustrious leader has produced a guide to dryer disassembly at http://fixitnow.com/...disassembly.htm

Follow the instructions for "Sears Kenmore, Whirlpool, Roper, Kitchen Aid, Estate" with the lint filter in the door.
Mad Mac....Pray to God he's out there....somewhere.
