Your the one to make my day right? ;) I have a ge microwave i bought about a year ago.  Model number jes1036pwh02.  It started aout 2 weeks ago shutting off in the middle of cooking, it came up PWR on the screen and would shut off.  Then tonight it just quit all together.....No lights and no action, i have no idea what to do.:yikes:  Can you help me once ago...Pleeeeezze:D

This is most likely either a bad solder joint on the control board or a bad door interlock switch. You'll need to open the control panel to access these parts. Watch out for the capacitor in there that stores 2,000 volts-- even when unplugged. :yikes:
