Kenmore 80 series washer

Help! My Kenmore 80 series washer works fine on the permanent press cycle, but won't drain or advance on the other cycles.

if you are certain that it does everything it is supposed to do on perma press(fills,agitates,drains,and spins) but not on the other cycles; then it must be the timer control that has failed you.
