My old-style Hotpoint dryer (model # DLB2450BDLAD) recently started making a horrible squeeking sound. With help from your site, I went ahead and replaced the rear drum post & bearing, front drum glides, and the belt.
So... the big squeek is gone, but there still remains a subtle high-pitched squeal. It isn't super loud or overly annoying, but I would love to get it perfect! Could this be the idler pully wheel? This seems to be one of the few moving parts that I didn't replace. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Mike

The idler pulley is about the only thing left that could be making a squealing noise. (Slight possiblity of motor bearing).
