Scottthewolf
What's really sad, is I met one of the engineers of the Neptune front load washer before it even went into production. He took us to dinner and showed us a prototype of the MAH3000AWW and showed us how servicer friendly it was. I pointed out the door boot will collect water and be a source of mold and mildew growth and he reported that to the sales dept. The CEO of Maytag at the time told him not to worry about that and told him it's a customer education problem.I also stated that the wax motor in the door lock should be a solenoid, not a wax motor. Wax motors have a tendency to overheat and draw too many amps, causing a control board problem, again, the CEO told him not to worry about that, cause a wax motor is cheaper than a solenoid. At least Whirlpool did the right thing when they designed the direct drive top loader washer. They actually asked technicians what they wanted to see from a service standpoint, and they designed the washer with technicians in mind. What a concept! Scottthewolf
The Neptune MAH4000AWWs make a great aquarium. These have a recirculation pump that works great so your fish can breathe.Just change the solid door to a glass door, use the detergent dispenser to put fish food in. Your fish will love it! Scottthewolf
Nah, I disabled the spin and tumble cycles. It's not fun seeing your fish get dizzy. Have to do the humane thing here. I rigged it so the door stays locked permanently, the recirculation pump runs 24/7 and the detergent dispenser will run with the flip of a toggle switch when the fish need food. SANTA
Add some spices to the dispensor and a hot water cycle. I'm getting hungry. Maybe you could rig the drain pump to mix up some tarter sauce
