Stream light has some nice stuff, mine is a twin task model about 7 " long with body diameter 1" and head diameter of 1 and a 1/2". It rechargable. It has 3 different power settings 3 LED, 6 LED, or zenon. I think this particular model is NLA originally $70 , got it marked fown for $30. Stream light does have some smaller ones that are not rechargable as well. The big box stores also see the small ones I think they are made by a company called coastal. Usually about $30...thay are pretty hard on batteries though. That's why I bit the bullet and got a rechargable. Just charge it every night and don't have to worry about it.

I took the suggestion from *completeapplianceservice* and purchased one these at Lowes--very bright and serves my needs well. Can be used to find house numbers from the cab of your truck on dark nights.

I also have a 12v milwaukee flashlight--very similar to the ENERGIZER. Although less bright and shorter "run time" it is now a back-up light.

Milwaukee Tools recently introduced a replacement LED bulb that can be used in their flashlights to provide an upgrade to brighter lumens and longer run time.

For those jobs where the homeowner lives in the dark 24/7---drapes drawn on a beautiful bright day. Requiring night-vision googles to walk thru the home...

20 million candlepower for less than $50

Okay I finally found the best flashlight in the world for what we do. I have tried probably 7 different ones in the last year. I hate them all. Who knows how much I've spent on the dang batteries or the ones I've left at a customers house.

So here it is guys. Its perfect. It charges with USB. It's bright enough to see it in broad daylight. It's adjustable in more ways then you think. It's small. It has the strongest magnets available to consumers. it gets you into tight spaces.
The only downside but not really is that it cost a about $50 you will break even because you will not need to keep buying batteries. Lastly it's really hard to get a 5 stars on amazon for a product that is reviewed 50plus times. This thing is worth it.

I ordered one last night. I couldn't help it, Im a sucker for a better flashlight. I'll search the world over until I find the perfect one. I like the stick type rechargeables but the LED's are never bright enough and most have that dull blue light. They also tip over too easy and you can never find the right place to hang em. This one looks like it might solve those problems, I'll give it a shot. It's worth a carton of smokes :D
