"Door" The message I get but the door isn't locked

Kenmore oven model 911.9388710.

Door not locked but I cannot use the oven. I keep getting  an error message but the door is fully closed and not locked at all. Please help . Gas for the SUV and McDonalds makes daddy a broke nashvillian.

i hated those roper ovens, try putting your unit into a clean cycle,and then cancel it again once it begins to clean-once it unlocks it may work again- something about the 2 microswitches that monitor door lock position and moisture- bottom line is that you probably need the e.r.c. kit  that includes a control,several moisture shields,microswitches etc. if memory serves part # is 344200 my advice is to buy the range a drink (in the nearest river!)
