My trusty old Maytag dryer is on the blink.  Starts up fine but experiences a flame out shortly after ignition.  Gas valve solenoids are working fine when energized but losing power due to something tripping somewhere?  The tumbler continues to turn and the timer does not advance under this condition (runs until I open the door).  I don't have a schematic to troubleshoot.  Suspect the cycle thermostat?  What's a grasshopper to do?  Thanks.

Holy furball Batman!  Giant lint log just downstream of the lint filter appears to be the cause of the problem.  Extracted the furball and the trusty old Maytag is back in action!  Thanks for the forum.  Keep on kick'in.
