Dont have a manual for this unit.

Either gonna be a bad fuse, wire, or smart board.

Thanks for the reply. Is the power xformer built into the smart board? Is there a specific test for the board, other than visual?

That Mod # should be... JVM1540SM1SS

Yes the transformer is attached to the board as seen below

You need to verify that the board is getting 120 VAC via the diagram. If the board has 120 V and you have no display then the board is bad.

If I remember correctly the hot wire is broken by a cavity thermostat..I have seen a bad connection at that point a few times.

Got to look @ this micro. Found the reson for no display was the MGT thermal cut out was open and no power to board.

Will pick up and replace.

I have the paperwork from inside the unit. Has a nice wiring diagram and trouble shooting flow chart. Would it be helpful if I scaned and uploaded same?
