If you need to move or rearrange a washer/dryer to get to the other washer /dryer and floor glides will not work and you do not have  an Air Sled............I spray Windex on the floor where the feet of the appliance will be sliding............When done you wipe the floor  ( but  " I don't do windows " ).................

for lighter appliances on hardwood i have a crazy carpet, its thin and easy to slide under dishwashers with tight clearance

and was easy to cut down to a perfect 24" wide
The only stupid question is the one not asked
