I'm receiving an error code F1 on the front panel of my Jenn Air Model SVE47100B, Serial #17054877WS.

The error code comes on when the oven is hot and I can't turn on the oven again (to bake) until  given at least an hour or more for the oven to cool.

Do I replace the touchpad and control unit, or the clock unit.  (the clock runs fine, the oven cleans and broils.  I just can't bake).  If it is the touchpad, what holds it down?  Double stick tape, glue, or just the mounting screws?

Good Samurai, any help would be appreciated.

Dave

Usually, this is a bad sensor (item 12). Ohm it out to be sure. Also, check the sensor harness connector on the ERC. If the sensor is bad, get a new one here.
