It's actually a link. In the forum index view, scroll to the bottom of the page. In the last dark blue bar, you'll see four phrases, which are links, in there. The first one is, "Today's Active Content." Click it and you'll see all the active topics for the day. Works just like the Recent tab in the old forum.
