Serial # 10257062ZK
Series # 10
Here is what happened:
1. Turned dryer on: Breaker thrown
a. Switch breaker back on and tested dryer
2. Dryer would not get power
a. Tested breaker/ok
b. tested dryer switch and wires/ok
c. by passed small thermal fuse on side of heating element (internet troubleshooting)
3. Dryer got power. Loud buzzing noise and would shut off
a. Replaced all thermal fuses
4. Still loud noise and would shut off
a. checked wires located inside small cover where power cord attaches/ok
b. Completely tore down dryer to check all wiring for damaged wires. All wires ok.
More internet troubleshooting indicated that the motor was not bring the watts from 220 to 110. Not sure how to test that. Motor seems to run ok. Drums manually turns without problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We can't really afford a new dryer right now. Thanks!

... More internet troubleshooting indicated that the motor was not bring the watts from 220 to 110...
the Motor runs by itself on 120v, connected to one side of the 220v line and Neutral.
Just like every 120v device in your house.
soo,, Does the Dryer run now and with Heat ?
Where is the noise coming from ?
The Rollers / Drum ?
Or the Motor ?
