I have a Frigidaire Affinity front-loading washing machine (Model No. ATF6000FS / Serial No. XC73406325) with a broken door latch. The "hook" on the door has broken off, I think inside the "catch" on the main body.
Replacing the hook in the door looks fairly simple, but retrieving the broken piece from the catch look to be more challenging.
Any help here? (part numbers, strategies, etc.)

Thin needlenose? maybe a small hook in the end of a wire hanger, get hook behind it and pull out?
