Hi,

I have a Frigidaire FTF2140ES0 (front load washer) that doesn't spin water out of the clothes. The drum does not move at all. I looked in the back - belt is intact. Pulled off lower front panel and pulled pump assembly - reasonably clean (nothing plug worthy). When I set the washer to drain/spin, the pump engages and spins but no movement by the drum. I know it can be the door lock switch and that the continuity tests will often show the switch good when it's not. So, what's my next step? Believe it or not, my appliance sales/repair shop said "all we do is start replacing stuff until it works again." No wonder people just throw stuff away rather than try and get it repaired!

Thanks for any help

Thought I'd add - tub spins freely and so does motor.
