No bake, no broil. Continuity was not present between the common terminal and the bake terminal. This = new valve. Does the gas valve control the spark ignition? When I set the oven for bake or broil, there is no "snapping, ticking" of the spark ignitor. Is this common when the valve is faulty?

yes, with Oven DSI Spark Modules, neither Bake nor Broil will Spark if either portion of the Gas Safety Valve has no continuity.. . . Is this common when the valve is faulty?
