I'm in the process of replacing a tub seal on a Kenmore series 80 direct drive washer.

I have removed the tub nut with the spanner wrench, but the inner tub still isn't lifting out.

Am I missing a step or is there something else to try (I even tried spraying some penetrating oil in there)

Thanks.

Why? I came into this game for the action, the excitement. Go anywhere, travel light, get in, get out, wherever there's trouble, a man alone. Now they got the whole country sectioned off, you can't make a move without a form
