I have a Maytag model MDB6000AWW that just recently ceased to start when turning the control knob to any of the washing settings. The lights are active and able to switch from On->Off for the various options (timed dry etc). The door does seem to latch OK when I close it.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance!

Here's your wiring diagram that I've annotated things for you to check:

If you're not getting voltage where indicated, you'll need a new timer.

... when turning the control knob to any of the washing settings
... lights are active and able to switch from On->Off

1) won't Fill nor run the Wash Motor ? . . .Does the Timer run ?
2) the Delay and Sensing Lights work OK ?
