When out to do a service call on this refrigerator. The evap coil was frosted up. I defrosted the coil and checked defrost heater and bi metal. They both checked out fine. While i was defrosting the evap coil the lady mentioned that when she first bought the fridge she had the same problems with it and they replaced the control board twice, but that didn't solve the problem. So finally a whirlpool factory tech came out and replaced some other part and that fixed the problem about a year ago. Does this ref have some sort of evap sensors that cause the evap coil to frost over like the GE refs do? Any help would be appreciated thanks..

Will this thermistor also cause the evap coil to ice up?
